Bear Valley Bike and adventure club

Bear Valley is among the most beautiful places to ride in the world. Located between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite on Ebbetts Pass Highway 4, the uncrowded roads and trails are both super scenic and challenging.

The Bear Valley Bike Club endeavors to support riding in the area by organizing it’s own rides, camps and clinics as well as highlighting other events in the area (Death Ride, Ebbetts Pass Century, Mr. Frog’s, etc.) . Join the club for free, take some rides with some new friends, get a discount at the Bear Valley Adventure Company (bike shop) and have some fun.

Bear Valley is in Alpine County (population 1,200 – California’s least populated county) at 7,000 feet. The extensive mountain bike trail system includes tons of sweet singletrack. The road riding is on good, smooth asphalt and Highway 4 is both a National Scenic Byway and State Scenic Highway. It’s worth the easy drive to discover this “Best Kept Secret” (Sunset Magazine).
